Green Lions is an award-winning UK independent production company co-run by filmmakers David Bond and Ashley Jones. Based in London’s Shoreditch, the company has built a reputation for producing high-quality, narrative-led documentaries, commercials, short fiction and campaign films.
Green Lions has strong links with international broadcasters, media and design companies. Amongst others, we have made films for BBC, Channel 4, Current TV, Mother, Weapon7, WCRS, Greenpeace, Bloomsbury and SAS Design. Green Lions develops, scripts, shoots and edits innovative programming with an international appeal.
Green Lions has received prestigious industry recognition winning the Channel 4 Commissioners Choice for Never At Rest and the Audience Award at the Bahamas Film Festival, and Create Television’s Critics Choice for Water Damage. Lions Are Green won the Best BBC Short Film at the Night of Many Stars, Best Short Fiction Award at Divercine and Shortcuts Festival Audience Award.
Current projects include a feature documentary about privacy for Channel 4, BRITDOC and The Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust, and a series of four Three Minute Wonder films for Channel 4.
